Maddy Petite's story doesn't seem to be a happy one. After all, she’s fighting stage 4 metastatic lung cancer. But she is a fighter, a new mother, and she's buoyed by love of family. In a word, the teacher and coach at Foley (AL) Middle School is grateful.
